Arnoldus Montanus (1625-1683) was a Dutch theologian and historian. He was a minister of the Reformed church first at Schellingwoude and then at Schoonhoven. He published books on various subjects, often related to history, religion or geography. His book De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld from 1671 was considered a standard work in Europe at the time.
