Book 7 lacks leaf Mii (replaced by a blank leaf of different paper); occas. mispaginated/ skipping page-numbers; both books partly (vaguely) waterst. Weak on hinges, headband loose; (2) Le troisiesme livre d'Amadis de Gaule (...). Paris, Iean Longis & Robert le Mangnier, 1560, (4),CLXVIII lvs, w. woodcut title-vignette and 24 ills., contemp. calf unif. w. the preceding but sl. smaller in size (w. similar defects). Ad (1-2) and (3): both vols. with heraldic engr. bookplate of Edward Davenport on upper pastedown. And 3 others similar in 2 vols.
