By Abraham Guiragossian (1871-1956), Beirut, ca. 1910. 8 showing a military ceremony on Martyr's square in Beirut, lead by French vice admiral Ferdinand-Jean-Jacques de Bon, and one group portrait of French military officials such as the vice-admiral De Bon, M. de la Forcade, Haute commissaire Francaise, Commandant Doizelet, the military governor of Beirut and others. As described in contemp. letter incl. w. photos.

Added: an invitation for M. Guillandot by the officers of the French Division of Beirut on a boat called "Du Chayla", and a few newspaper clippings on Syria from 1905-1906. In a paper folder w. manuscript title: "Turquie, Syrie, Beyrouth. Les beautés de la Domination Turque, extrait de "les pyramides", 30 mai 1906". (total 13)
