Five engravings: (1) Barbara van den Broeck (b. 1560). 'The Last Judgment'

Engr. after Chrispijn van den Broeck (her father, ca. 1530-90), 40.3 x 29 cm, w. the address of Hendrik Hondius in The Hague. Verso w. stamped collector's marks of Baron H.A. Von Deschau and of the Kupferstichkabinett der Staatlichen Museen, Berlin. Foxed (esp. in blank margins), some folds, remnants of former mount at left margin verso. Hollstein 7, second state (of 2); The New Hollstein 152, second state (of 4), w. the signature altered and w. the address of Hondius, before 1649 and before the address of Frederick de Wit. Rare. (2) Giovanni Battista Fontana (1525-87). 'Saint Martin sharing his mantle'. Engr., 13.3 x 18 cm, signed and "Appresso Nicolo Nelli" in the plate, mounted at upper margin under passepartout. Trimmed on/ inside the plate-mark, 2 sm. closed holes in the image, verso glue stained. Rare. -and 3 mounted (2x backed) engr.: 2 by Georg Christoph Eimmart (1638-1705) after Daniel Neuberger (1600-60) and 1 after Rubens (1577-1640).
