Etching, 21 x 29 cm (incl. extensive legend in French and Dutch in top margin). Leyden, P. van der Aa, ca. 1700. Under passepartout (central fold as publ.). (2) "Zee slach voor Duynkercken door Marten H. Tromp anno 1638". Engr., 27.5 x 35 cm, from Commelin, Frederick Hendrick van Nassauw Prince van Orangien: zyn leven en bedryf (Amst., Janssonius, 1651). Under passepartout. Central fold as publ., narrow margins, sm. portion of lower blank right corner torn off. Muller, Historical prints, 1796-a; Atlas van Stolk 1933-25. (3) "Het op stapel staande oorlog-ship de Hercules, gebouwd door den scheeps timmerman I. Spaan op de nieuwe werf buiten Dordrecht MDCCLXXXII". Handcol. engr. by J.
