Joe Jones, Music Machines and Fluxus Projects

Asolo, Francesco Conz, 1979. Collection of 17 loose plates printed black on white cardboard, 25 x 35 cm, each signed and numbered 6/15 AP. Also contains a printed title sheet stating 'This edition consists of 145 portfolios each with 16 graphics signed by the artist. These are numbered as follows: 100 sets with arabic numbers, 30 sets with roman numbers, 15 artist proofs.' This copy is from the set of artist proofs, numbered '6/15' and signed 'Joe Jones 79'.

The plates feature music machines designed by the artist/musician between 1962-1978, accompanied by his handwritten commentary (in facsimile) about each project. All plates are near mint. (total 18)
