Joe Jones, A Garden Party at Erick Andersch's

On 26 June 1983, Joe Jones set up a solar orchestra in Erik Andersch's garden in Düsseldorf. Guests were invited for a dinner party to enjoy the musical event. The music performance was recorded and documented by various photographs that were published as an artists' book in an edition of 15 copies. This is one of the copies, which includes an original colour marker drawing on tracing paper, signed and numbered '1/15 Joe Jones' in pencil. Photos by Eric Andersch & Sons. Fluxus artist Takako Saito is spotted among the guests. Scarce and delightful item in very good condition.
