(1842) mounted at all margins under passepartout.

A few foxed spots, otherwise fine. With the blindstamp of Buffa and Sons in lower left corner. Fine and rare, large view. Description of the Rijksmuseum: "Het paleis in de Plantentuin te Buitenzorg (West-Java) met op de voorgrond twee mannen te paard en recreërende mensen. Prent maakt deel uit van een album met een serie van zes lithografieën van gezichten te Java en een titelprent." The title of that album: Vues de Java, dessinées d'après nature et lithographiées sous la direction de monsieur J.J. van Braam.
