of 4 announcement posters (out of 5 total). Antwerp, Wide White Space Gallery, 1969-1973. Offset lithos, each 52 x 77 cm, folded for mailing purposes. Designed by the artist for his exhibitions at the famous Belgian avant-garde gallery run by Anny De Decker and Bernd Lohaus (1966-1976).
For each show Buren produced white paper sheets with coloured stripes which were glued to the exterior wall of the gallery. The same prints were used for this poster announcement, with stripes on recto and exhibition information on verso, adding each consecutive show. The stripes are a different colour for each show. Included are (1) Green, 1969. (2) Red, 1971. (3) Yellow, 1972. (4) Blue, 1973. Lacking the brown one from 1974. All copies with bright colours, creasing along the folds, generally in good state.
