James Lee Byars, cards for Wide White Space Antwerp, 1969 - 1973

(1) White cut-out paper star, diameter of 11.5 cm, with tiny text printed in blue stating: Wide White Space has been renamed the Institute for the Advanced Study of James Lee Byars. Antwerp, 1969. Mint copy. (2) James Lee Byars at Wide White Space Gallery Antwerp April 18 to May 7 1969. White card, 12 x 12 cm. Printed both sides with extremely small text in green. Announces the works '75 In A Hat', 'A Pink Silk Airplane for 100', '1000 Minutes of Attention or 1/2 An Autobiography of James Lee Byars'.

(3) Pink sheet with facsimile printed handwritten text 'Baby Baudelaire', 27.3 x 21 cm. Page from the artists' book made and presented at the 1969 show at WWS. Apparently the phrase 'Baby Baudelaire' popped up spontaneously when James Lee Byars was talking to Marcel Broodthaers about poetry. (Bekaert and Van Dijk, interview with the artist in Streven 10, July 1969). Folded copy. Includes a WWS envelope stamped May 1969. (4) A and B you ready to do some Fant. Show?
