Leaf T (p. 289-290) lacks a sm. portion of upper outer r. corner, sl. affecting the text/ page numbers; a bit foxed and occas. sl. waterst., occas. other sm. defects. In all, a good copy of the rare second edition (as indicated in the introd.). This was published in the same year as the first under the title De geestige werken, and in this year two more editions appeared. With the nice travel-account that was published separately before, in 1671. Van Overbeke died shortly after these travels. His rym-wercken were very popular, as is illustrated by the 10 editions that were issued up to the year 1719.
