[Erotica] Ten items relating to the Warmoesstraat

(1) A series of 4 picture postcards featuring images of prostitutes, late 19th cent. Uncirculated. (2) Picture postcard Maison Weinthal. De nieuwe politie verordening: je mag er naar kijken maar inkomen niet. Uncirculated, ca. 1900. Rare. The brothel was a stone's throw from the royal palace. After the brothel ban, it continued as Hotel Weinthal, until it was closed in the summer of 1902. (3) Postcard "Cabaret Moulin Rouge, Warmoesstr.". Uncirculated, ca. 1915. -and 1 other postcard. (4) Lithogr. print, "Bestrijding der prostitutie in de Warmoesstraat". 27 x 35 cm. -and 2 sm. books, Nachtleven in Amsterdam and Een prostitutie-Congress (publ. J. Vlieger).
