Arthur (Addi) Koepcke, Original signed collage/drawing, Koepcke Piece No.126, 1965

Handdrawn colour chart, crayon, pencil and black marker, on green cardstock, 50 x 35 cm, with original collage and (twice) rubberstamped text 'continue'. Stamped 'Original Koepcke Piece', hand-numbered 126 and signed A Koepcke in pencil in lower margin. Stunning piece, still very fresh with vibrant colour elements, in very fine condition. Arthur Koepcke (1928-1977) was a first generation Fluxus artist and promotor of the Fluxus movement, organizing events through Koepcke gallery which he and his wife set up in Copenhagen in 1957. His collages and montages integrate text and image, often in an ironic or humorous way.
