Printed record label features face A: Mebs, Face B: Caraxia. The album presents a 'sound sculpture', made with a frequency oscillator. The Mebs track projects the sound graph of the Moebius strip, while Caraxia refers to the sound of a spiral. Sleeve in fine condition, the record seemingly new. Scarce.
Cildo Meireles (Rio de Janeiro, 1948) is an influential Brazilian conceptual artist. He is well-known for his immersive and multi-sensory installations, inviting visitors to sharpen all senses. His multi-layered work often deals with political repression or (colonial) exploitation.
