[Theatre] Austria, Maria (1915-1975). Five photographs, Nederlandse Comedie

5 silver gelatine prints of a play, all 23.5 x 18 cm. All w. copyright stamp of Particam Pictures verso, together in orig. envelope w. copyright stamp and 'foto Maria Austria'. The envelope is sent to Paul Alexander, the theatre director of the Nederlandse Comedie during the 50s and 60s. Post-WWII, Alexander emerged as a significant personality in Dutch theatre, renowned for his Shakespearean productions. Maria Austria frequently photographed his work, and it's possible that these images are from the play 'Much Ado About Nothing'.
