Minor dam. to upper right corner of print, tear in upper left margin repaired w. sellotape, not affecting print. Overall good condition. *Following the Royal Gorge War, an intense conflict between railroad companies ensued. The Denver & Rio Grande was authorized to proceed with the construction of a railroad through the narrow canyon. This photograph by Jackson shows the railway line running alongside the Arkansas River.
