Partly cut short in lower margin, sl. affecting the printed area of the title-p. and other pages; former owner's entries on title (Ten Doesschate, also w. his stamp. on upper flyleaf) and on blank leaf in front of the title-p.; occas. stains and minor other imperfections. Vellum a bit stained and warped/ splitting at overlapping parts. Muller 375, the first Dutch edition (the first edition was published in Herborn, 1600). Bound with: (2) Baudaert van Deynse, W. Apophtegmata Christiana. Ofte gedenck-weerdige , leersaeme, ende ardighe spreucken, van vele ende verscheydene Christelijcke, ende Christen ghelijcke persoonen gesproken (...).
