Riccardi, col. M-109. Very rare second edition, the last edition published during the author's lifetime, together with the first edition of his treatise on Navigation (w. separate title-p.). In the main part, the author discusses terminology, signs of the zodiac, phases of the moon, solar and lunar eclipses, the Ptolemaic, Copernican and Tychonic solar systems, and instruments such as quadrants and globes. The first edition was published in Florence in 1712. The second part deals w. navigational charts, compasses, measurement, etc.
