Artist and filmmaker Beth B (b. 1955) is a foundational figure of New York's radical No Wave film movement in the late 1970s and early 1980s (with her then-partner Scott B). In the years following Beth B has produced over 30 documentary, experimental, and narrative films, as well as interdisciplinary works. The Punk and underground vibe continues to feed her work which challenges society’s conventions, addressing social issues, power, sexuality, and desire. (total 2)
