[Tokens] Stadhouder Willem V van Oranje-Nassau and Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia. Six silver tokens
(1) Token on their marriage, Berlin, 1767. Silver, Ø 3.7 cm, weight ca. 18.5 gr., recto w. double bust surrounded by the text "Wilhelm. V. Auria. & Freder. Sophia. Wilhelm. Prussiaca" signed "G. v. Moelingen" in lower edge, verso w. image of marriage altar below 2 angels, surrounded by the text "Spes Patriae Populi Delicia" and above the text Nuptiae Celebratae/ Berolini IV. Oct./ MDCCLXVII". This token was offered to the militia of Amsterdam and also to the fire-officers of The Hague, it also exists in gold. (2) Entry of Willem V and Wilhelmina of Prussia in Amsterdam, 1768. Silver token, Ø 3.4 cm, weight ca. 12 gr., recto w. double bust similar to the preceding, signed "J.G. Holtzhey fec." in lower edge, verso w. extensive text below a cherub holding the coat of arms of Amsterdam. -and 4 others: 2 more tokens on the entry of the royal couple in Amsterdam, 1768 (1 large version of (2), punctured at the top, and a smaller, diff. version), and 2 sl. diff. tokens on the Inauguration of Willem V as Marquess of Vlissingen and Veere, 1766.
