from the time that Eppo Doeve was a student at the Landbouwhogeschool in Wageningen (1927-1930). Twelve of them w. his owner's entry/ signature on frontwr., w. num. scattered sm. drawings on the in- and outside (mostly not related to the subject at hand) of the notebooks. Nice insight in the study period of the artist, already showing his talent and urgent drive to make drawings, resulting in a completely different career than the Landbouwhogeschool would have provided. Subjects of the schoolbooks are for example "Wiskunde. Differentiaal", "Economie", "Mineralogie", "Natuurkunde", "Microbiologie", "Organische chemie", "Physische chemie" and "Erfelijkheidsleer".
