Daan van Golden. Exhibition folder Stedelijk Museum Schiedam, 1966

Offset printed b/w both sides, 93.5 x 24 cm, folded in four panels. Announcement for the exhibition 'Van Golden '64' at the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam 16 September- 9 October 1966. Seminal document reproducing the 1964 Tokyo invitation in altered perspective, referencing the concept of appropriation and evolution in his work.

The folder has the same format as the 1964 Tokyo invitation, and depicts a b/w photographic image of the Tokyo brochure shot at an angle from above and pictured as an object receding into space. Recto with basic exhibition information printed in blue and black at upper left, and an image of the front of the Tokyo invitation. Verso with an image of the reverse of theTokyo invitation. Age toning to outer margins, minor rubbing to folds, generally a fine copy. Extremely rare.
