Mark/Space 1 (Interplanetary Review)

Amsterdam, Self published, 1974. Mail art assembling in original publisher’s envelope, 35 x 23 cm, with stamped names of participants and numbered '161' from a limited edition of 200. Contains a three-page introduction, and 19 contributions on mimeographed and photocopied loose sheets on variously coloured papers.

Contributors include Tim Leary, COUM, Opal L. Nations, Robin Crozier (green hole-punched card poem), Pauline Smith, UFO, Charlz, Black Holes, Geomaiax, Henry W. Targowski, Udo Breger, and Paul A. Louwers. Mark/Space aims to ‘bridge the inner & outer reaches of space-time by being an open forum for communication & information exchange’. A call for participation for the second issue is mentioned in the introduction. It was meant to be edited by Friends Environmental Laboratory in Amsterdam, but does not seem to have been realized. Envelope with tear at flap, sheets are mint. Rare.
