Guillaume Apollinaire 1880-1918: A Celebration 1968

Contains fourteen items including three booklets and 9 slip-ins (with index card), and a 45 rpm record of Apollinaire reciting 'Le pont Mirabeau'. The booklets feature an introduction and exhibition checklist, a biography compiled by Peter Hoy, and a catalogue for the exhibition of works created for the Apollinaire Anniversary Celebration by contemporary artists such as Richard Hamilton, John Latham, Henri Chopin, John Furnival, Bernard Heidsick, Francoise Janicot et al.
Added is the ICA booklet 'I wonder', for the play by Adrian Henri and Michael Kustow performed in connection with the exhibition. Also joined is a list of films commissioned for the exhibition, which include 'Up Yours Too, Guillaume Apollinaire' by B.S. Johnson and 'Apoli-Apolo' bij Francoise Janicot and Renee Beslon.
