(1) Photogr. portrait of King Willem III of the Netherlands (1817-1890). Albumen print, 31 x 23 cm, mounted on paper with autograph signed dedication in pen: "C.J.G. Baron van Hardenbroeck van s'Heeraertsberg en Bergambacht (...) 1868, Willem", w. the blindstamp of "R. Severin, Photographe de S.M. Le Roi, Noordeinde 109, La Haye". Mounted on board, formerly framed. His clientele comprised primarily members of the well-to-do middle class and the Dutch nobility. Severin photographed the Dutch king William III and took photos of a Japanese legation visiting the Netherlands. As a portrait photographer, Severin was international in his orientation and befriended both Nadar and Louis Ghémar." (2) Portrait photograph of Emperor Wilhelm II (1859-1941), 39.3 x 29.5 cm, signed and dated "Doorn 1923" (?) in pen, the signature and date faded. - and approx. 40 miscellaneous others, mainly photographs but also incl. several genealogical trees, newspapers etc.
