Set of 6 (of 10) engravings, all approx. 16 x 11.2 cm, by Jean-Baptist Barbé (1578-1649) (3x), Carel van Mallery (1571-after 1635) (2x) and Cornelis Galle (I) (ca. 1576-1650) (1x), numb. 1-3, 5, 8 and 9 in lower right corner, all signed "M. de Vos figuravit" by the mentioned artists in var. ways, all w. address of Van Mallery, mounted at upper corners under 3 passe-partouts. Good impressions, thread/ narrow margins. Some foxing and staining. Very delicate prints, all w. octagonal central scene surrounded by elaborate different borders w. figures presenting appropriate bible quotes. -and 7 others, incl. prints by Pierre Brébiette (1598-1650), Louis Spirinx (1596-1669) (3x), Michel van Lochem (1601-1647) (2x) and Charles van Boucle (1597-1628). Added: series of 8 engravings dep. scenes from the life of Christ, incl. a duplicate of the 9th print of the series as mentioned above, and print 7 from that same series, all in very poor impressions.
