SUMUS (We Are Together) was an informal group set up by Dóra Maurer and Tibor Gáyor between the 1970s and 1980s, organizing international exchanges of Hungarian and Eastern European underground artists. Maurer and Gáyor were able to travers the Iron Curtain at the time due to their double Hungarian-Austrian residencies.
