The first complete edition of this important history of Friesland, by the officially appointed provincial historian Pier van Winsum (1586-1644). The first edition appeared in 1629. In our - posthumous - edition a "Laudatio Funebris" by Van Winsum was added by Martin Wybenga, with own title page in red and black and dated 1645. At the end is located the "Oratio" by Van Winsum, published in Franeker in 1641.
