[In medieval style] Actes et Prières pour la Communion

No place, publisher or year (ca. 1890), frontispiece, title and 28 pages of text on artificial parchment, with various nicely hand-coloured borders, sometimes highlighted with gold or silver, with three empty borders at the end for notes ("Souvenirs de Famille"), bound in black morocco, inside sides with gilt borders and silk endpapers, all edges gilt.

Top hinge broken on outside and on top a piece of leather from the spine is missing. Else very good. Richly hand-illuminated publication of which we have not been able to find any other copy. The frontispiece and 1 text page signed "Petit. Sc.".
