Lucius Flavius Arrianus was a Greek-speaking historian and philosopher from the second century AD. This collection of his works (in the best edition with beautiful large map) was translated and annotated by Nicolas Blankaert (1625-1703), including the famous treaty on war tactics, the tactics in the battle against Alano, expeditions at the Black and Red Seas and a treaty concerning hunting.
