The scarce first Dutch edition of this work by Lambertus Hortensius (1500-1574), supported by François Catrou (1659-1737). This edition is an adaptation and extension of the work of Hortensius, Tumultuum anabaptistarum liber unus, published in 1548. PiCarta lists only 13 plates for our edition, for the second edition (1700, also at Desbordes) a total of 16 plates are listed.
