Frontispiece, portrait and binding slightly stained, yet a very good copy of this type of usable book. The esteemed second edition of this classic, expanded with the life of Van Mander (1548-1606), the "Toegift" in verse by Bredero and extensive, updated indices. The first edition appeared in 1604.
