Album with ca. 570 pages with pasted ca. 3000 pieces of the company's small prints, mostly the Amsterdam location but also Pretoria, 1904-1912, contemporary cloth, elephant folio (61.5 x 36 cm.)(on the inside here and there small defects, backstrip loose).

Fascinating archive in a less than convenient size with a total weight of nearly 25 kilogram. All possible kinds of small print are included, such as preprinted stationery, receipts, order forms, publisher's catalogues of books and magazines (several small books), lists of advertisement costs, book covers, correspondence cards, envelopes, posters, prospectuses, announcements, petitions, mailing lists, flyers, advertisements, promotions etc. A remarkable number of items is related to South Africa and Indonesia. The archive presents an extraordinary insight in the company's small prints necessary for international business, naturally printed by the company itself. Also an interesting overview of additional promotional publications of (various editions of), for example, the Algemeen Spoorboek van Nederland, spoorwegkaarten, De Indische Mercuur, Mercuur-Code, Deli in woord en beeld, Financieel Adresboek, Afrikaensche Kinderbijbel, Eigen Haard, etc.
