The first edition of this often reprinted, finely illustrated discourse on human anatomy, with the separately paginated discourse on circulation. The frontispiece depicts a cutting session in the famous Leiden anatomical theatre, with the skeletons in reality belonging to the summer setup, when due to the heat no cutting would take place. The final 2 pages contain an interesting catalogue of books available at Ten Hoorn.
