[Photos Mussert and N.S.B.] "IJmuiden 1934 bij opening steunpunt "De Victorie",

aan de IJmuider Straatweg." Original photo of Mussert in the middle of a group of boys dressed in black, 23.8 x 17.5 cm., with text in pen on reverse.

The photo has been removed from a holder, leaving traces of the latter. When the photo is held to the light, the explanation in pen (also written on remains of holder) is visible. Also with note in blue pencil: "Schuilenburg retour met negatief". This has to be N.S.B. sympathiser Hendrik Laurens Schuilenburg, the photo is probably from his collection. The text on reverse mentions the title and also: "Er was toen nog geen Jeugdstorm. Jongens als "zwarte soldaten" gekleed als "erewacht" (uitsluitend voor deze eerste gelegenheid". With: "Mussert en v. Geelkerken". Original photo, 13 x 18 cm., on reverse titled in pencil and with stamp of J.J. Swart Jr. and date stamp 17 May 1937 (tear in top margin and traces of holder on reverse). And with another 10 original photos (nearly all with traces of holder on reverse) incl. an interesting photo of an N.S.B. propaganda ship on the Meuse river at Rotterdam (1935, by H.A. van Oudgaarden with humorous aphorism in pencil on reverse), portraits of Mussert and Van Geelkerken, Mussert with a group of small children and photos of buildings draped in pro-Mussert texts (1936-1937 elections, 1x with stamp "fotodienst der N.S.B.").
