Tanned in margin at the beginning, here and there slightly foxed or with annotations in pencil; binding with small defects/light damage. With ex libris of Madame L. Giraudeau on inside front board. Contains (each with its own title page): (1) The Windsor Guide; Containing a Description of the Town and Castle. New Edition; (2 and 3), A Compendious Gazetteer (two parts, of which the first with indication Third edition and the second dated 1794); (4) Short Sketches of the Lives of the Most Eminent Painters. Bound with: (5) Les Delices de Windsor; or The New Windsor Guide, for the Year 1784 (...). N.pl., J. Pote, 1784, (10),123,(1) p., with large folding, engraved plan of the castle (small tear on fold, frayed). And bound with: (6) The Windsor Guide, Containing a Description of the Town and Castle. New edition. Windsor, for C. Knight, n.d., (4),90 p., with six (folding) engraved plates (this is a different edition from (1)). Parts (5) and (6) in this convolute with old owner's name "Richard de Vesurotte" in pen at the beginning.
