(ca. 1910) (with the stamp of the photographer on last blank leaf), with letterpress title page followed by a railroad map of Japan, a world map with steamship and railroad links and 50 coloured collotype photographic plates, original rich decorated cordbound silk, all edges gilt, oblong folio.

At beginning slightly thumbed, binding also trifle soiled/ duststained and with very light wear. A very good copy of a magnificent, rare large-size tourist album. We traced several copies of the album in this edition, in various bindings. The album has been reissued several times in versions not as luxurious as this one.
