Three various games: (1) "Jeu du Cheval Blanc".

Game dated 1836, consisting of 5 cards of each 12 x 18.5 cm., each with a different illustration in gouache, also a wooden hammer, a fine palmwooden cup, 8 ivory or bone dice with numbers 1-6, a hammer and a clock on one square (other squares blank), 57 (of 60) red tokens and 55 (of 60) blank tokens of bone or ivory and finally a letterpress "Explication du Cheval Blanc", all together in the original cardboard box decorated with chintz paper with lithographed title on the lid, 18 x 25 x 5 cm.

Lacks a small number of tokens. Lid torn in one corner, walls of box tender from bottom. Fine and very rare early variant of the Bell and Hammer game, this copy with extraordinary gouaches for cards. We traced a copy online with handcoloured, lithographed cards, our gouaches carefully follow these cards. One of the cards (with a clock) dated 1836; (2) "Lerne spielend english! Ein Lotto, als hervorragendes Hilfsmittel für english lernende Knaben und Mädchen." Germany, c. 1900, game consisting of 2 sets of 10 chromolithographic cardboard cards with each 8 removable squares, these squares per set numbered 1-80 with German sentences in translation of English sentences with the same numbering, also 27 (of?) cardboard "coins" and two tin boxes, all together in original cardboard box with printed explanation on inside and title on outside, 27 x 39 x 4 cm. And with 1 similar (incomplete) other game. (total 3)
