[Indonesia] Photo archive of Christina Zietse-Zorab

From the larger archive of Aratoon Zorab (see lot 315), comprising 11 photo albums with hundreds of photos, personal and business correspondence and other documents by or related to Christina Zietse.

The photo albums with photos of life in Surabaya, family, servants, trips to other islands; also related to Christina's life, a trip to the USA, her work as secretary for the United Nations at New York and Geneva, and a mission to the Belgian Congo; one photo album related to the Second World War. Also hundreds of letters and picture postcards related to lovers and her marriage to A.A. Zorab in 1969; documents related to her work at the United Nations; many loose photos, several with Zorab and one in which she shakes the hand of princess Beatrix.
