Title-p. loose and lacking portions; scattered tax stamps; lacks first free endpaper. Interesting and very rare auction-catalogue, listing 538 / 598/ 2809 / 296 books (folio/ 4to/ 8vo/ manuscripts). The manuscripts include 2 of the oldest Dutch chronicles, written in Egmond (number 12 in folio, up to the year 1147 and number 286 in 8vo, up to the year 1205), as well as a number of other (early) medieval texts. The printed books include (post)incunabula and a number of later 16th-century books. The auction was held at the house of the widow B. Scheurleer, Veenestraat 152, The Hague.
