[Legal psychology] J.Chr.A. Heinroth.

Leipsic, C.H.F. Hartmann, 1825, XIV,554 p., contemp. marbled boards w. manuscr. paper letterpiece on spine.
Covers and spine a bit rubbed/ chafed. A good copy from the library of Dr. Aug. Hegar, with his bookplate on upper pastedown and owner's entry in pan dated 1920 on title-p. Garrison & Morton 1736. The rare first edition of this work on the medico-legal aspects of insanity. Heinroth (1773-1843) was one of the most progressive psychiatrists of the 19th century. He was the first to use the term psychosomatic.
