Amsterdam/Harlingen, Petrus Conradi/ V. van der Plaats, 1784-1785. 9 (of 14) parts in 3 (of 7) vols. 26 engraved plates, mostly folding, depicting travels of the VOC to the east, showing the burning of the dead on Bali, a view on Goa, natives of New Zealand, Bontekoe on Mascariñas, Canton, the Great Wall of China, whaling in Japan, and many others. Half calf, marbled paper over boards, large 8vo.

Bindings worn, all vols. somewhat soiled, vol. 1 lacking head of spine (added), all with preliminary pp. and plates with small stamp, plate of Ternate with large tear and one plate lacking right folding edge. Rare collection of beautifull engravings on the Dutch VOC travels around the world. (total 3)
