Note on half title; apart from some slight wear, inevitable with a fragile binding such as this one, a remarkably well-preserved copy. Spectacular hunting scenes in which the hero of the story, Maxime, sends to another world one by one a wild boar and panther, a swan, a buffalo, an elephant, a rhinoceros and a tiger, obviously each time with great danger to his own life.
