Henry Miller (1891-1980). Manuscript letter in pen to "Dear Henry Braakenburg",
dated "12/27/59" and signed "Henry Miller", on recto of 1 sheet blue airmail paper of 30.5 x 18.3 cm., self-folding into envelope with on reverse the address of Henry Braakenburg (Sarphatistraat 2-A, Amsterdam) and the stamp of sender Henry Miller, post-paid and stamped 28 December 1959 (top and bottom margin whitened, perforation holes in left-hand margin).
In the letter Miller apologises for his late word of thanks after having received the second "bread boy" from Braakenburg [see lot 525]. Miller then announces to quickly send him a book titled "Art and Outrage", and mentions a visit to Japan in Spring.
