In 1926, the famous tale of Don Quixote was transformed into a shadow play by artist Pieter van Gelder. Using the 1925 text by the famous Charivarius (1870-1946), the Philips' Vereeniging performed the play in reprise in 1931. W.P. Landzaat (1886-1940), an army officer known for his sacrifice at the Battle of the Grebbeberg but also a skilled actor, recited the text for this edition of the play held in Eindhoven. (total 8)
