[Anti-German propaganda] Lot with more than 40 items, incl. (1) "Die einzige neue Waffe,
die Deutschland retten kann... Reichs-Propaganda-Ministerium, irgendwo in den noch nicht besetzten deutschen Gebieten." Design drawing in India ink, monogrammed "MT" [= Rob Korpershoek], 31.5 x 24 cm., on transparent paper (central fold and other minor defects).
Almost certainly the original design for a famous anti-German propaganda illustration, which was distributed in various sizes by Uitgeverij Ons Volk (Utrecht), from 25 June 1944. The Rijksmuseum has a copy of the sticker printed after this design (see https://tinyurl.com/llq5nrk and the description here below).
(2) Flyer after the previous design, 18 x 14.5 cm., printed in purple, without the German fake address and without the monogram, as published (central fold); (3) "Enkele aanwijzingen voor wijkhoofden./ Algemene handleiding." Letterpress manual, with instructions lettered a-e for the neighbourhood leaders and numbered 1-8 for distributors, with (contemporary?) pasted sticker after the aforementioned design, 8.5 x 5 cm. In instruction 3 streetlights are mentioned as possible locations, which matches the size. Further instructions such as: "Plakken in duister of schemering"; "Oplaag per persoon 300 stuks"; "Plak snel en verknoei geen tijd met overplakken en kijken of het wel recht zit"; "Neem geen risco's. Komt er een agent of een Duitscher aan, loop of rij dan door en begin aan een andere straat"; "Of deze onderneming gevaarlijk is, hangt in hoge mate van je zelf af!" With another 9 loose stickers in two variants, 6x with printed phrase "Goedgekeurd door Dept. van Volksvoorlichting" and 3x without this phrase. And with another 28 various other, mostly small letterpress pamphlets and placards, incl. "Dood aan het fascisme!. Staakt en saboteert!", "Vandaag of morgen valt Berlijn. Nu ondanks honger standvastig zijn. Trouw" and 6 placards in 5 variants with German text and addressed to German soldiers, in order to convince them to give up battle (total more than 40).
