Several woodcuts have been expurgated with washed ink, affecting also the facing and following pages; vaguely waterstained in bottom margin. Vellum torn on backstrip. Richly illustrated, very scarce edition, apparent from the title specifically intended for artists. The woodcuts had been used much earlier, e.g. in the Feyerabend edition from 1563. With 1 more added (total 2).
