Album with nearly 40 leaves mostly written on both sides (and more than 30 blank leaves), with poetic contributions monogrammed J.H.W., E.H.C., M.C.M., M.S., etc., dated 1828-1837, with pasted "scrap" on the first page, also 2 drawings in black chalk, 3 gouaches (flowers and butterfly) and a drawing in brown ink of ruins at Troy, a loose inlaid plan of Hertfordshire, a loose inlaid letter and loose inlaid cut-out caricatural gouaches, contemporaneously bound in black blindstamped and gilt morocco, all edges gilt, 4to.
Top edge broken on inside (flyleaf loose), leather with traces of use.
