Utrecht, J.G. van Terveen, 1821, VI,(2),104 p., with engraved portrait, title and 66 plates, also with 20 pasted coloured scraps on 14 blank backs of plates, contemporary half morocco, small 8vo (old owner's names, joints trifle torn, leather slightly dry).

With approbation in pen by the publisher, below his 'voorberigt'. Very rare edition, we were unable to trace any copies in PiCarta; a copy of the title page and portrait is kept at Leiden; (2) Vertellingen voor jongelingen en meisjes, naar aanleiding der Kleine gedichten voor kinderen, van Hieronymus van Alphen door eenen kindervriend. Leiden, printed by H.R. de Breuk for P.W. Trap, n.d. (1852), 79,(1) p., with 4 lithographed plates, original printed cardboard, small 8vo. Trifle browned/ foxed, wrapper discoloured and paper across spine slightly worn. Nevertheless a good, mostly uncut copy of this very fragile and rare publication. With another 6 editions of Kleine gedichten voor kinderen, incl. an original proof with many corrections in pen and with "verzoeke persrevisie" in pencil on the title page and "persrevisie" multiple times in the text. Added: two vols. of collected poetry for children by Francyntje de Boer "dienstmaagd te Sneek". (total 10)
