Poor copy, folding plate stained, with small holes and affixed to mount, as is the (torn) title; contents mostly loose. Leather on spine damaged. Jan Caspar Gevaerts (1593-1666) was a philologist, poet (neo-Latin), lawyer, historican, diplomat and registrar of the city of Antwerp.
